Thanks for coming back! On Friday I shared your top five poem choices from my blog during the calendar year of 2015. As promised, it’s time for the top five recipes. Here they are in no particular order: Macaronis bil Laban (Noodles with Yogurt). Ironically, this is a recipe I can’t eat. But you all loved it, and I’m delighted because when I could eat gluten and dairy I loved it too. It’s a simple, quick meal that can easily be adjusted for picky palates. Maqluba: Lebanese Eggplant and Rice Casserole.

You may have noticed there were no poems or recipes in my Top 10 post on New Year’s Day. While my poems and recipes are well-received, they don’t generate the same return readership my memoir or trauma writing pieces do. That’s okay with me! Truth be told, I post recipes and poems for myself. This is my site after all. However, there have been a few favorites in both these categories, so I thought it would be fun to revisit them. Happy New Year, Honeyed Quill readers! Thank you for journeying with me through 2015. I was told by friends and mentors throughout the year that my star was rising. I took that to mean I was on the right track in developing myself as a writer and coach. 2015 was fraught with difficult transitions that coupled with growth.
