The Carrot Ranch Flash Fiction Writing Competition was pioneered by Charli Mills and the Rough Writers, a fearsome band of a buckaroos who ride by their own rules and write with style. I reached out to Charli many months yon to ask if she might help me birth a dream for our family: to raise money for Noah and his service dog, Appa. Her immediate response was “Yes!” and she rallied her Writers. Geoff Le Pard, Pat Cummings, Norah Colvin and Sarah Brentyn saddled up as judges for this competition.
The Carrot Ranch Flash Fiction Competition is well underway. This rodeo is being hosted by Lead Buckaroo Charli Mills. Charli is a bonafide word wrangler who can tell a story as well as she can tie up a goat and she has the awards to prove it. She keeps herself busy with weekly Flash Fiction Challenges she rounds up into compellingly curated compilations. She, along with a handful of Rough Writers will be wrasslin’ your submissions to see which one comes away with the buckle . . . ahem . . .
